Give it a shot - the app itself is free and comes with three free issues to read. The Zinio search tool doesnt have as many features as the Adobe pdf. It's a little frustrating to watch the application's introduction video, but the app itself is worth the wait. The Zinio reader does have a search feature, its in the upper right hand corner. It's definitely not a finished effort, but it's among the furthest along that I've looked at. Zinio has been in the business of digital magazines for a while, and this app shows their commitment. The table of contents are clearly and thoughtfully laid out, and even include a zoomed out set of pages for the user to review. Zinio does, however, offer a terrific "text" and "page" feature that allows users to see magazines laid out as they are in paper form - as a "page" - and in simplified text form that's easier on the eyes. It's hard to rate the application itself on its interactivity as it depends on the individual publisher.

Zinio's store includes tons of magazines, each with varying degrees of interactivity. The cost savings shouldn't be lost on any readers - it's cheaper than you'd find in independent apps like Newsweek or TIME. The Economist, for example, costs $6.99 per issue or $126.99 for 51 digital issues.

That's right - Zinio offers subscriptions! That's something we haven't seen in other magazine applications. They are each available for download through Zinio's in-app store for varying prices and subscriptions.

The iPad is a natural fit for Zinio - I'm sure the company is thanking Steve Jobs for giving it the perfect platform on which to display their content. They have offered desktop readers for a while, and have had an app for the iPhone as well. It's great to have access to all the back issues and try other magazines I wouldn't normally read.Zinio has been an established player in digital magazines for a while. I didn't realise it was now available in the UK.

It now comes with a Movie Editing app, the Zinio Reader app for downloading and reading magazines. These two scripts basically read the periodical in question and save it as a PDF. Some new apps have been added to the ASUS Transformer as well. You need to use it in Chrome, so you will have to have that installed. If you happen to use comixology, try this It's a bit fiddly to get working but I had no trouble (except that it can only run on the C drive). In other PC that make a 2004 upgrade, Zinio Reader is running without problem. The system is running quit well, but I can't log in in my Zinio Library with Zinio Reader.

This means I can back up my magazines and comics and read them in one of the many great PDF readers available for Win10 (I use Comics++). After some problems with my 2004 update (outlook, OneDrive, etc.) I decided to format an make a new win 10 installation. Nowadays I use two cunning home brew solutions made by the community to convert all my periodicals into PDF. This is only good for light readers with few magazines. The problem is emulation takes up a lot of processing power and the scrolling and zooming was never as smooth because of it. Emulation worked quite well for simply reading magazines and offline reading in particular worked better here than in the MS version of Zinio. Zinio is a service that allows you to buy magazines in digital format, that you will be able to download and read in your computer.

At the time I had my magazine subscriptions with Google so I had no choice but to read them in Android and with the comixology app removed from the MS Store again, I needed Android. Zinio Reader is a magazines' reader to be used with Zinio service. There were two choices: Amiduos and Bluestacks. Neither worked particularly well and in fact the comixology app has been removed from the MS Store.

Wanting to do everything on just one device, my now dated MS Surface Pro 2, I found the early MS Store apps for zinio and comixology.

On there it was easy to read and there were good apps. I have been reading comics and magazines digitally for a long time and come from an Android tablet background.
